We’re Emily and Rachel—sisters, founders, and lifelong partners in chaos. We grew up in a loud, loving Toronto household that taught us three things early on: work hard, stay honest, and never wait around for someone else to build your dreams.

Emily is the face behind Hot Girl Enhancements—a mindset coach and creator with a community of 50,000+ who love her no-filter honesty about self-confidence, growth, and the glow-up journey (cosmetic surgery and all). Rachel is a writer and entrepreneur who’s spent years creating content in the wellness space, helping big brands sound human.

We’ve both built our lives from the ground up—through competitive hockey, dance rehearsals, and side hustles that turned into careers. That pace can be a lot.

Some days, the bare minimum is all we have time for. So we created something that fits into real life—no 12-step routine. Just ingredients that actually do something for your hair.

Bare Minimum was born from the same energy we were raised on: keep it simple, keep it honest, and make sure it works. We got tired of stealing each other’s hair products and decided to make one that anyone could rely on. Just rosemary and castor oil—that’s it.

Hand-bottled by us in small batches, right here in Toronto. Still doing the bare minimum… but making it count.

Why we did it

Because we’ve both abused our hair. From bleach to box dye, highlights to brunette (and back again), our scalps have been through it—and our hair showed it. Dry, brittle, and worst of all… it just stopped growing past a certain point.

Now, I’m not about to claim this oil will magically make your hair grow overnight. Legally, I can't. But personally? My hair has never felt healthier or looked fuller. Even our mom noticed hers feels thicker. Emily just started using it consistently and will be sharing updates on her IG and TikTok @hotgirlenhancements.

We went deep into research, testing everything on ourselves (and our friends who were willing to be guinea pigs), and came to one conclusion. Everyone needs this. It's easy, nourishing, and comes right before your hair wash.

What's easier than that?
